Our ambassador team is a group of undergraduate students who are passionate about research and are here to answer questions you may have about starting your own research journey!

The mission of URSA is to promote and support undergraduate research and creative discovery among peers.  Ambassadors work to foster a vibrant research community by building partnerships within their college and engaging students through various initiatives.

Responsibilities include:  

1. Mentoring and Advising:  Serving as peer advisors, helping students navigate the research landscape and connect with resources. 

2. Workshops and Presentations: Ambassadors organize and facilitate workshops, informational sessions, and panel discussions on various topics. 

3. Promoting Research: Ambassadors actively promote research opportunities and encourage participation through classroom visits, club presentations, and other outreach activities.  

4. Event Participation: They assist in events related to research, such as research panels and symposiums.
