Isabella Garrard, a sophomore majoring in Data Science, began research in her first semester at MSU by co-founding the Group for Undergraduate AI Research and Development, an organization dedicated to providing undergraduate students with hands-on research opportunities. Beyond LLM research, she explores applications of data science in bioinformatics and social media analytics through her technical roles on campus. She intends to attend graduate school and pursue a career in industry.
