April Guo-Yue, a senior majoring in biomedical engineering and computer science, has been engaged in biomedical and computational biology research. She plans to pursue a PhD and aims for a career in academia. At MSU, she is contributing to the development of a mechanical compression-perfusion bioreactor system aimed at accelerating osteogenesis in orthopedic implants. Additionally, she has been involved in projects involving experimental testing and modelling of cytokine designs and analysis of microbial simulations.
