Rayne Rutherford
Rayne Rutherford is a Chemical Engineering junior with a minor in Data Science. She has conducted computational research for four years across labs at Mississippi State University, Hudson Alpha Institute for Biotechnology, and the Mayo Clinic. Her previous work includes developing R-based code to analyze disease-linked mutations and using machine learning to predict gene regulatory networks. She is excited to continue her neurodegenerative disease research throughout her junior year. Currently, Rayne uses supercomputing and single-cell genomic data to study genetic susceptibility in Alzheimer's disease
